Chemical sun protection material core surrounded by a mineral sun protection nano shell. The core can be locked and captured inside while the nanoparticles are adsorbed on the outer side which eliminate the penetration to the human skin opposed to free dispersed nanoparticles. Both materials keep their sun protection properties
Slow release
Broad spectrum fungicide was loaded into the microparticles. The active ingredient was dissolved in the particle lipid core that was surrounded by nanoparticles shell. The microparticle exhibited effective slow release for more than 24 days.
Surfactant free micro-scale drug carriers
Water insoluble drugs were entrapped in lipid cores and/or in the decorated particles and were released for hours, days and weeks. The microparticles can be used in oral, topical and injectable controlled release systems.
